Assignment

With the Margarethenklinik, the University Hospital Basel has opened a competence centre for aesthetic surgery on a university level.

The communication tools required for this purpose are intended to underline the competence and diversity of the clinic. The focus is on information and rising awareness. In addition, regular events with opinion leaders are intended to increase regional popularity.

Challenge

An increased demand for aesthetic surgeries and procedures is contrasted by a sparsely regulated supply, which is offered by service providers and contractors with different levels of training (including cosmetic studios and non-specialists). It should therefore be highlighted that the clinic uses scientific methods to question and improve the effectiveness, the results, and the safety of the treatments offered.

Implementation

A mix of information and marketing – emphasising on competence and a critical approach. Our main message: the clinic combines academic expertise with state-of-the-art technology and offers professional aesthetic, dermatological, and urological treatments.
