The Stiftung Alters- und Pflegeheime Binningen manages two retirement homes in Binningen and, with 175 beds and around 250 employees, is one of the medium-sized providers in the Basel region. With its focus on geriatrics, dementia and gerontopsychiatry, the foundation also has a strong unique selling point in the entire region and is even considered an official centre of excellence.

With external support, the newly formed management team would like to scrutinise various issues in internal and external communication and marketing and implement optimisations where necessary. This also includes issues relating to employer branding and public affairs.

Implementation

Various corporate identity topics were covered in a comprehensive workshop. In addition to corporate communication and design, particular attention was paid to corporate culture and behaviour. With the intention of investing more energy in employer branding measures in the future.

In addition to the topics of corporate identity, various questions were asked about offers and customer expectations. On the basis of these findings, possible measures to improve the entire customer journey should be possible.

The resulting documentation summarises the results of the workshop. It defines communication goals for the coming year and for two and five years from now. The documentation also contains the communication strategy and specific recommendations for action, including measures in communication and marketing.
