With its renowned specialists and three services - physiotherapy, osteopathy and a training center - Medical Fitness Team AG is one of the most important addresses for health issues in Basel.

With all services under one roof and linked together, patients and customers can train at two locations from a comprehensive, professional range of services in a familiar environment.

Competition on the market is particularly fierce in the areas of osteopathy and training, with large studio chains entering the market with cheaper offers. The brief is clearly formulated and, in addition to traditional sales promotion, also includes strategic positioning and the development of a lean marketing mix.

Challenge

Like many SMEs, there are countless ideas and opportunities, but fewer financial, human and time resources compared to larger competitors on the market. When developing the marketing strategy and new measures, it is therefore crucial that these can be implemented in a targeted manner with a limited budget and the available time resources.

Implementation

Right at the start of the collaboration, a comprehensive marketing workshop was held with the client, which provided important insights into unique selling points, the golden circle, target groups and the market situation, for example, and revealed previously unutilised potential in offers, for example. Based on this workshop, marketing objectives, measures and KPIs, including an annual budget, were developed and approved.

Due to the sometimes enormous competition, especially in the training sector, the first measure decided was to update the outdated website to the latest standards in UX and technology.

With the new website as a basis and a massively increased SEO level, various digital and social media campaigns will be conducted throughout the year, including measures to improve the Google ranking. Seasonal peaks are also supported with classic sales promotion measures.

A social media and content marketing concept was also developed to ensure that the diverse expertise of the team members has a stronger presence in future, which will be implemented partly by the client itself and partly by us, for example by writing blog articles.

To ensure that the benefits of the 3+ offerings can be transferred from strategy to day-to-day operations under one roof, all employees were also trained in customer communication and sales techniques.
